The Ten Commandments

Passage: Colossians 2:6-10; Exodus 20:1-17; Deuteronomy 5:6-21; Romans 12:1
Service Type:

Pastor Gail – Welcome
1. Good morning, good morning, good morning. I missed last Sunday. I was up in the mountains of North Carolina, and by the rivers, oh, by the sea. That was wonderful. And I missed you.
2. But I was thinking about our Easter Sunday, how amazing it was. And we’re glad that Tina is here today who got to dance for us on Holy Saturday and the holy Sunday morning, midnight 01, Holy Easter. Isn’t it wonderful to know the name of Jesus? To declare his name always and all times and always.
3. Father this morning, we declare you at the name above every name. We love you this morning Lord. We thank you for the awesome privilege we have of going here today and worshipping you together. Thank you, Jesus. Would do you stand?

Pastor Gail – Reading the Word
4. It’s good to see some of you, we haven’t seen you in a while. Would you take your Bibles? There’s a Bible behind the chairs. We like to use paper Bibles here. And the reason why, a lot of people who grew up with the word, they suddenly forgot where to find things in their Bible. Let’s turn to Colossians 2 please. Colossians, it’s in the New Testament, if you’ve forgotten, Colossians 2:6-8. “So then, just as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him. Rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught and overflowing with thankfulness. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on the human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.” And let’s read Colossians 2:9-10 altogether, it doesn’t matter, Greek, English, whatever translation, 9 & 10. “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.”

Pastor Gail – Announcements
5. We want to bring our requests before the Lord this morning. Truly, He can do anything, amen. If you’re here this morning and you need healing, just raise your hand and just believe. We believe that the Lord can heal. If you’re believing for your family, believe the Lord. The Lord hears us. We need to have a third request this morning, let’s pray for the world. We have the light of his mercy.
6. And one of the most beautiful things about the body of Christ is being united in Christ. So, would you just take someone’s hand? Jesus is our healer, Jesus hears our prayers, and Jesus wants his light to go into all the world, amen. Let’s pray.
7. Father, the name of the Lord Jesus right now, we glorify you, Lord, we thank you, God. Lord, we come before you, God. You said we’re two or three together, together, and pray, God, the Lord, will hear, we will hear from heaven, God. Lord, we thank you, God, for the many healings in this church, Lord, today we’re praying, God. We’re praying, oh, Father, Lord, that you will visit, Lord, because you’re already here, but visit with healing because that is who your name is. I am the God who heals you. We thank you, God. We pray for our families, Lord.
8. God, we believe as we bring them before you, God. Lord, our families will come to know you and welcome the light of your glorious love. And, you know, Father, we pray for God, the many difficult situations in the world, Lord.
9. Lord, you are the Prince of Peace, God. Lord, often we like to apply that to physical situations, but, God, we don’t want to say eternal peace. We’re seeking God that the nations of the earth would know you as Lord of lords, King of kings, God Almighty. And, Lord, thank you right now, Jesus. We magnify you, Lord. We give you glory in the name of Jesus. We love you, Lord, so much. We love you, Lord. We love you, Lord. Thank you for who you are in Jesus’ name.
10. Would you be seated. It’s good to be in the house of the Lord. Amen. We have been very blessed this past week. EME was privileged to host an international group called ‘Living on the Edge.’ And so, those of you that are with the Living on the Edge group, would you mind standing? Let everybody see your beautiful faces. We welcome you here, praise God. And we’re thankful that here today we’re going to have a word from one of the members today.
11. Actually, it was a wonderful privilege. They come from all around the world, different people wanting to bring discipleship. We all know, we talk about that here. People are just not getting discipled. They need to. And for those of you, some of you may not know, but I wanted to tell you after we prayed, because I hoped your faith was great for healing while we were praying.
12. In case you don’t know, Mary’s eye cancer. The doctors have told her it’s totally healed. Praise God, amen. Praise the Lord for what He alone can do. Now, she’s still not seen really clear, but we want to believe for her eyesight.
13. We’re so glad our children are here right now. And we’re getting ready, Kata, to dismiss our children for children’s ministry. We’re glad you’re here. You came right on time, absolutely. Ole, Ole, Ole, heigh. We’re glad you’re here. Praise God. So, we want to, Alpida and Najish, we’re so thankful for Alpida and Najish, that they are serving as our children’s ministry. Amen.
14. Some of you, though, our visitors today, you may not realize, even in a crowd that’s a little small like this, how many nationalities are sitting in this room right now. Oh, my goodness, we are many, many, many. We’ll take an opening about 16. And it’s so wonderful to see the love of the family of God together.
15. Just a few quick announcements. Of course, there will be a Wednesday night at 7 p.m. word and prayer. Saturday morning, what is it, Stavros? Saturday morning, men’s breakfast at Stavros’ at Leto’s house. It will be wonderful. And then, of course, next Sunday will be communion Sunday morning.
16. And we don’t often have the privilege near us to go to Christian concerts. But the Greek Christian Artists Association, and it will be on the bulletin, it is on the bulletin board back there. The 26th, is that today? No. Yes, it’s today. So, you could go to a concert tonight at 7.30. People don’t tell me Christianity is boring. I’m telling you, they’ve never followed our schedule, have they? Praise God. It’s never boring.
17. So, we’re really happy to see you here today. And where you’re seated, and of course, we hope you’ll stay for lunch today. It’s going to be wonderful. But where you’re seated, I’d like you just to very, we’re going to just worship the Lord very comfortably for a moment as we get ready for the Word.
18. I want to share a little bit about the gentleman that’s going to be ministering to us today. Dave Holden is his name. And he has been a pastor. And he’s also discipled and trained through Living on the Edge. Hundreds of thousands of pastors around the world.
19. Now, this really interests me. He was called to preach while he was working as a professional baker and cake decorator. We should have had you make a cake for us today. Don’t judge our cakes. Praise God. And so, we’re so thankful he’s been a worship pastor, planted many, many churches. And some of our other people will find this very interesting. He lives part-time in the Philippines. And part-time in America. So, it’s going to be a wonderful Word today. Amen.
20. He’s worthy. Just worship him. If you know the songs, just why don’t you just close your eyes even and think about him, how worthy he is.

Pastor Doug Holden – Main Message
21. Good morning, everybody. We’re so happy to be with you here today. And Pastor, thank you for sharing your pulpit today. It’s always dangerous to do that. You never know what to expect. As we came in this morning, I couldn’t help but notice that I recognize you from other churches I’ve been in all around the world.
22. God’s people are the same everywhere that you find them. And we are a part of a wonderful family. And so, what is it that makes a family? Well, we have the same Father. And we share the same blood. And this binds us together wherever we find one another throughout the world. So, it’s going to be an honor to share the pulpit with you today. But we both went to the same haircut yesterday.
23. So, it’s an honor to be with you this morning. On this trip, I have the honor of being with my two sons. They’re here with me. And you can imagine it’s always a challenge for kids to grow up in a pastor’s home. And the message that I’m going to bring to you had its inspiration and beginnings way back when my children were growing up and they were small.
24. And it was a way that my wife and I trained them in the Word of God. So, I hope that you’re going to enjoy this today. And whenever I meet a new congregation for the first time, I always like to be very friendly. And I know that you will treat us, our whole team, with the same love that we will share with you today.
25. The early Church fathers said that a great Christian education started with two points of Scripture. They called on everyone to master the Lord’s Prayer. And they would teach the deep significance of that prayer. The second foundation of a Christian education is the Ten Commandments. And this is where we will spend most of our time today.
26. So, I’m not going to ask you to open your Bible, because I’m sure we’re all familiar with the Ten Commandments. Is there anybody that would care to recite them from beginning to end? Is anybody have them memorized? Can you remember all ten? Do you think so? What do you think? Is it possible? Don’t worry, we’re going to learn all ten today.
27. So, there’s only one thing better than a paper Bible. That’s having the Bible written on your heart. So, do you know where we find the Ten Commandments? In the USA, there’s a tradition. When you write a love letter, you sign it on the bottom, XXOO.
28. Do you know what that means? X means I give you hugs, and the O, I send you a kiss. And so, the way I remember where to find the Ten Commandments, is that I think of it as God’s love letter to us.
29. So, I always remember X. Yeah, because it’s found in Exodus 20. And in Roman numerals ‘XX’ is 20. OK, so, where do we find the Ten Commandments? Okay, Exodus 20. The Ten Commandments, they begin with, “Have no other gods before me.”
30. Now before we go one step further, let’s memorize all ten commandments. Shall we do that? You won’t need to hold your Bible. You need your hands. Okay, here we go.
31. So, number one, commandment number one. Okay, everybody put up one finger, one finger. Number one, God is number one. So, I’ll take advantage of my translator here this morning, but God is number one. And this says, “Don’t have any other gods before me.”
32. Number two. I’m going to point these at my eyes. Two fingers. Second commandment, “Don’t have any idols. Don’t let anything come between you and God.”
33. Okay, number one. God is number one. Number two. Have no idols. Don’t let anything come between you and God. Okay, commandment number three, “God’s Name is holy,” and we call the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. And so, we say we do not use God’s name in a bad way. We say don’t use God’s name in vain.
34. Okay, let’s review again. Okay, number three. “Don’t use God’s name. Okay, number two, have no idols, number one, God is number one. Have nothing else before God.
35. Number four. Okay, this is this is perfect for you and me. Okay, number four. I’m going to put these four fingers behind my head because this is the sunshine. Okay, so I will say keep Sunday holy. Keep Sunday holy. Okay, and every Sunday, for us, it’s a special time to meet with God. And God is waiting for you every Sunday. In fact, can I tell you something? God was here at 10:30 and He was waiting for you.
36. Yeah, so number four. Fourth command. Keep Sunday holy. Now, it actually says keep the Sabbath holy. So, I’m taking certain liberties so that it’s easy to remember. Okay, number five. The fifth commandment is the one that all the kids love. So, I take these five fingers, fifth commandment, and I go like this. Obey your parents. Okay, obey your parents. And this teaches respect for authority of all kinds. And you will see, as we explain these commandments, that each of these laws has a far-reaching impact into society today.
37. Okay, number six. I use six fingers. So, these five become my shield. And this is my sword. So, the sixth commandment, “Do not murder. Do not kill.” And so, in this way, it teaches us respect for all life.
38. Okay, and then number seven. Five and two. This is a little man. And he’s running around. Do you know what the seventh commandment is? “No adultery.” Don’t run around. Okay, no running around. It teaches us purity in our relationships. And it teaches us that God is asking us to treat one another with respect.
39. Okay, now the eighth commandment. Okay, I’m going to take my fingers like this, and I’m going to make the number eight. Okay, there’s the number eight. Now, they slip together. They become handcuffs. Because the eighth commandment says, “Don’t steal.” If you steal, you’ll go to jail. So, the eighth commandment, do not steal. Seventh commandment, do not commit.
40. Sixth commandment, do not. The fifth commandment, children. Aha, you see, that’s an easy one to remember. The fourth command, keep Sunday. And the third commandment, don’t use, that’s right. Don’t use God’s name. The second command says, don’t have any idols. And the first commandment says, God is number one. He’s first.
41. Okay, now we’re at the ninth command. So, I take five and four. And I’m going to take these, I’m going to put them over my mouth. “Do not lie.” Do not lie. And so, God teaches us to treat one another not just with respect, but to talk about one another in good and kind ways. We are not to talk about one another. We are not to talk about one another with gossip. But we are to treat one another with honesty. Do not lie.
42. And then the tenth commandment. Finally, I’ll use all ten fingers. And I just put my hands out like this. And I remember it this way. I say, enjoy God’s gifts. Because God pours out his blessing upon you. So, the commandment says, “Don’t covet or don’t desire anybody else’s possessions.” We don’t need to want anybody else’s house, their money. We don’t want their money. It teaches us to be content with what God has given to us. Okay, so let’s try them again. Ready? Let’s see if you can remember all ten.
43. Number one, God is number one. Number two, don’t have any idols. Number three, don’t use God’s name. Number four, keep the Sabbath, keep Sunday holding. Number five, children. Ah-ha, obey your parents, that’s right. And do not, that’s number six. Number seven, no adultery. Don’t run around. Number eight, do not steal. Number nine, do not lie. And number ten, enjoy God’s gifts to you. Okay, now let’s change it up. Ready? Number five, number two, don’t have any idols.
44. Number ten, number nine, do not, number seven. Number four, number three, don’t use. Did I leave anyone out? Number eight, do not steal. Now you know the ten commandments.
45. Ah-ha, okay, now let’s go through those one at a time. Let’s build this up. Number one, the Scripture says that God is first above all things. It says, have no other gods before me. Today in the world that we live in, there’s many things that can come between us and God. But God says, I am very jealous. I want to be first in your life. I want to be first in your heart. Love me above all things. I want to be first in your soul.
46. Where is the soul? We learn about the soul from King David in the Psalms. The soul is our mind, our emotions, and the will, what we want to do with our life. So, I love God with my heart, my soul. I let God set the direction of my life. I love God with my mind. That means if I ever have a question, I can go to him. I don’t trust my own thinking. I can trust the thinking of God. And I love God with all of my strength.
47. Where do you find your strength? It’s in your body. It’s in your muscles. If I love God with my strength, that means that every time I move my body, it can become an act of worship. When I use my muscles in a right way, then I can bring God glory in my human body.
48. At Living on the Edge, we have a passage of Scripture that we always like to teach from. And that is Romans 12. It was written by the Apostle Paul. And he starts this great passage in the same way that we begin the Ten Commandments. In the Ten Commandments, we say God is number one. But Paul says, surrender everything to God.
49. And he makes the point. He says, give up your body to God. And I would always think about that. Why do you say that? Because I can tell you, I believe. You cannot see what I’m thinking. Oh, I love God. But you cannot see inside my heart. So, Paul said, love God with your body. Now I can see your actions. Your life becomes a very visible testimony of your love for God. So, number one, God is number one. Don’t put anything else before God.
50. Commandment number two. Don’t have any idols. Don’t let anything separate you from God. If we go back to Romans 12, Paul teaches the same thing. He says, you are to live a life that is separate from this world. Because you’ve given your life to Jesus Christ, you’re a citizen of the Kingdom of God. But we must live separate from this world and separate from this world’s system.
51. This world is very powerful, isn’t it? Oh, it’s filled with beautiful things. Beautiful things that we like to look at. Beautiful things that we like to eat. Oh, we had beautiful food here in Greece. But the world’s filled with beauty. I see it all around me. It can be used against you. The Scripture calls this lust of the eyes. We see beautiful things and we pursue those beautiful things.
52. The world is also filled with lust of the flesh. The things that make us feel good. Pleasure. Yeah, and so you can pursue pleasure. And there’s a third temptation that we all face. Pride. The pride of life. And that means, oh, I feel so good about myself. Paul says, we are not to live in this way. These become idols. And these idols can take us away from God’s will for our lives. So put God first. Don’t let anything separate you from God.
53. And number three, use God’s name in a very holy way. Paul talks about this as well. He says, we need to look into our heart. He says, don’t be afraid to do this. Look inside and examine yourself. And you say, God, who am I? Who did you make me to be? Am I living the life that you want me to live? God, are there things that you want me to stop doing? God, maybe there are some things that you want me to start doing.
54. So, I look inside my heart and I say, God, please guide me. Show me. Who am I? Who did you make me to be? Oh, God has a plan for you. From the very beginning, God said this. He said, it’s my desire that you would become like my son, Jesus. Can you imagine that? He is calling us to be his disciples. What is a disciple? There are two qualities. We are obedient to the Word of God and we are becoming more like Jesus Christ every day.
55. So, as I look in my heart, I say, Lord, am I becoming more and more like Jesus today? Am I doing those things that you want me to do? Oh, can you see, even in the Old Testament, all the way to the New Testament, these concepts have been taught from the beginning, even to today.
56. The fourth command. Do you remember? Keep Sunday holy. Our time with God is very, very precious. And for many of us, we have set Sunday aside as a very special day. But Paul teaches something else. He says, just coming before God on Sunday, that’s probably not enough to really grow. So, he encourages us to come before God each and every day.
57. I read an interesting statistic. It said that there’s many Christians who will never open their Bible all week long. The only time that they read their Bible is when they come to church. But that Bible, it’s our spiritual food. And when I get up every day, oh, I like to eat every day. If you skip eating and you don’t eat, you’ll get sick. You will become very weak. I have learned to meet with God every morning.
58. Paul says, let your mind be transformed or changed. He says, day-by-day, let God have influence over your thinking. In this way, you will not think worldly thoughts. But you will think and you’ll begin to have the mind of God because you are in His Word every day.
59. Now I learned this in a very practical way. In my family, everybody fears my wife. My children fear my wife. I fear my wife. And so, we have a rule at our house. She gave each of us a notebook just like this. And she gave us a pen. And she says, when you get up in the morning, open your Bible. Take some notes on those things that you read. And then she says, if you don’t eat your spiritual food, I will not feed you your physical food. So, to get breakfast at our house, you have to read your Bible first. And this has made our whole family very consistent in meeting God each and every morning. Because yes, it’s true. Keep the Sabbath day holy. But every day is holy before God.
60. Number five, the fifth commandment says, do you remember, obeys your parents. In the Scripture, when we’re studying the Ten Commandments, these often contain a promise that God makes to you and me.
61. And in this fifth commandment, it says, this is the first commandment that God has given that has a promise. It says, “Children, if you will honor your parent, you will be prosperous. Successful. Your business will succeed. You will live a long life. How? Obey your parents. Now, it actually says, honor your mother and father.
62. Today it’s very popular to criticize our parents. But there’s no good promise if we do that. And do you know what I discovered? That whenever we say obey your parents, we think of small children. You and I are still the children of our parents. My mom is 93 years old. I’m still her little boy. And she treats me that way sometimes. But I’ve made it my habit in my life to honor my mother. This promise can be claimed by you today. Do you want success today? Honor your parent. Do you want to be successful in every aspect of your life? Honor your parent. These commandments are very, very practical for you and me.
63. Number six. The sixth commandment. It teaches us to have respect for life. Do not kill. So how will we live our life? If life is precious, how do we live? The Scripture says don’t murder anybody and that makes sense. But do you remember what Jesus said? If you have ‘hate’ in your heart, you’re already guilty of murder. The ten commandments are very big. You’ve heard it said, do not kill. But if you hate anyone, you’re guilty of murder before God.
64. But Paul talks about this himself. He says because life is so precious, then we must learn to forgive one another. He says don’t respond to anyone else with hate in your heart. If someone hurts you, forgive them. Try to understand. Don’t keep that pain in your heart. Release it through forgiveness.
65. Somebody said that when we have bitterness in our heart, it’s like drinking poison. We drink the poison and then we hope that someone else is going to get sick and die. But when I have murder in my heart, I’m actually killing my own self.
66. Can you see how serious these commandments are? They affect every area of our life. They will dictate whether you are successful in life. But it can also cause us to be very unsuccessful when we disobey. Disobedience to God, it’s never a good idea. God is always right.
67. The seventh commandment, don’t run around, no adultery. This teaches us purity in our human bodies. If I pledge myself to you, I will love you with every part of me. My wife owns my body. I own hers. This is precious. And you remember where Paul began? He said worship God with your body.
68. And I’m to love God with all of my strength. What does this mean? This teaches to be faithful to one another. But my body is that vehicle that I show my faith to you through. So, God owns every part of my body. He owns my mouth. So, I am not going to curse you. I will bless you. I’m not going to lie to you. I’ll tell you the truth.
69. God owns my eyes. So, when I take out my phone, I’m not going to look at pictures of women with no clothes on. I cannot. God owns my eyes. God owns my ears. So, I’m not going to listen to gossip. I cannot. God owns my ears. God owns my hands. I’m not going to strike you. But I’ll lay ahold of you. I’ll bring you close to me. I will learn to love you with these hands because God owns these hands.
70. God owns my feet. So tonight, I probably won’t go to the nightclub. I’m not going to go dancing tonight at the discotheque. There are certain places that God says, I don’t want you to go. He owns my feet. And in purity, then I will live in purity because God owns my body.
71. This is very serious. Jesus had something serious to say about this. He said, “Men, even if you look at another woman with lust in your heart, you’re already guilty of adultery.” That’s very serious. So, when I love God with my body, when I surrender everything that I am to Him, now I’m living the way that God wants me to live.
72. The eighth commandment. Do you remember? Do not steal. Do not steal. So, when it comes to stealing, one thing that I believe that we’re guilty of is stealing from God’s glory. Paul even said in Romans 12, he said, “Don’t judge one another. He says, that’s not your place. That only belongs to God.”
73. He says, instead, “Learn to forgive and love one another.” He says, “Don’t even try to take vengeance on anyone else. Do not rob from God’s glory.” Don’t steal. Whether it’s God’s glory or the possessions that anyone else might own, we must take care of those things that God has entrusted to us and let God handle everything else.
74. Number nine. The ninth commandment. Do not lie. You use your words in a good way. You speak truthfully and honestly. You know the name of the devil. Jesus called him “The father of lies.” When we are lying to other people, we were spreading rumors and gossip. We’re actually doing the work of the devil.
75. One of the names of Satan is the accuser. And when we accuse one another, we’re not living for the Kingdom. But we’re actually making the devil’s work a lot easier for him. So, we are taught in the Word of God that our love must be sincere that we have for one another. That’s what honesty is. Honesty says, I’m not going to hide anything from you.
76. Paul said it this way, “Let your love be sincere. Don’t be an actor. Don’t pretend to be somebody that you are not. Don’t try to hide your imperfection. Instead, be open and real with one another.”
77. So, let’s think about this. Number one, God is first in all things. In my love, emotions, in my thinking, number two, I don’t want anything to come between me and God. The world has lots of temptations. Make God number one and pursue him.
78. Number three, don’t use God’s name in a bad way. If you are a child of God, represent him in a good way.
79. The fourth commandment, meet with God every Sunday. That’s true, but God will be waiting for you every morning of your life. This is the habit of all great men and women of God. Meet with God every day.
80. Number five, obey your parents. Have respect for authority. We respect policemen, our teachers, government leaders. But if I learn to show respect to others, especially my mother and father, my life will be happy and blessed.
81. The sixth commandment, have respect for life. You’re not the judge. You don’t hold the keys of life and death in your hand. We leave that in the hands of God.
82. Number seven, I will be faithful. Do not commit adultery. Love one another deeply. Honor your marriage vows. These kinds of bonds tie us together.
83. The eighth command. Don’t steal. Be happy with what God has provided for you.
84. The ninth command. Be honest in all things.
85. And it leads us to the tenth and final commandment. Enjoy everything that God has given to you. We are not to be envious of anyone else. Because what we want to do is say, God, you have given to me perfectly to take care of me for who I am. This teaches me gratitude and thankfulness in all things.
86. Can I tell you something? When Jesus came to us, he said, “I did not come to erase the Law. But I came to fulfill the Law.” And Jesus Christ himself lived out the truthfulness of all of these commands. Jesus was God’s gift to you and me. And Jesus is perfect. He is enough. Jesus said, “I am the truth.” Jesus will never lie to you. He will never deceive you. You can depend upon the promises of Jesus Christ.
87. Jesus has lived a life that is faithful to you and me. The Scripture says that even when I lack faith, Jesus is always faithful. You can trust Jesus. The commandment says, do not kill, Jesus went further. He says, “I will love you. I will not think poorly of you.”
88. Obey your parents. Do you remember what Jesus said? He says, “Father, to go to the cross, it’s not my will. It’s not what I want to do. But Father, if you want it, I will go.” Obedience to the Father.
89. Jesus says, I’m waiting for you every day. He loves you. He wants to spend time with you. Jesus, the name Jesus is precious to us. Jesus said, “If you’ve seen me, you’ve seen the Father. I am the Father. We are one.”
90. The second command. Don’t let anything come between you and God. It was Jesus that said, “Father, whatever you want. I don’t take any action on my own, but only the actions that the Father tells me.”
91. And number one, God is number one. Jesus lived a life that put God first above all things. If we want to be like Jesus, then we can learn from the Scripture. How will we behave every day? What will people see? But more important, when the Father looks at your heart, what will he see?
92. So, it’s our prayer for you today that Jesus would be number one in your heart. That you would invite him into your life and say, ‘Jesus, whatever you want, I give my life to you.’ This is our prayer for you. It’s the deepest blessing that we could give to anyone. I pray for you that Jesus would live in your heart. Amen. God bless you.
93. Let me pray. Father, we’re grateful that we can come before you today. Thank you, Jesus. You fulfilled all of the law. And as we trust in you, God, you will bring goodness to our life. And we do trust you. We love you. We depend upon you. We believe you. And today, Lord, we’ll just say it again. We want to live for you. So, thank you, Father, for sending Jesus. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for giving us the power to live. And thank you, Jesus. We belong to you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

94. We are thankful for the beautiful name of Jesus. I invite you to stand with me for a moment. If you are this morning and have not asked Jesus into your life, He’s always ready and welcoming, He’s welcoming Himself into your life this morning. As we sing about His beautiful name, to close our service this morning, just, ‘Lord come into my life.’
95. And those of you who have maybe been a little casual with the Lord, maybe this morning, today, say, ‘Lord, just refresh the wonder of who You are.’ Lord, just refresh the wonder of who You are.
