Repent and be Baptized
- There's misinformation in the thinking that people won't be baptized because they are not yet worthy.
- I'm not yet ready to be baptized for all sorts of reasons and situations.
- But this is nowhere found in the Bible. Baptism doesn't wait for anything else other than repentance.
- Peter in Act 2 says "Be baptized and receive the Holy Spirit". Something supernatural happens.
- As you are baptized you become part of "the Church". This is bigger than just some ritual. You are now part of a family.
- So go ahead, and take the first step of obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ.
- It's personal, supernatural and communal.
