Why did Jesus come into Jerusalem on a donkey?
The Jews would select the perfect Passover lamb on this day.
Look Oh Jerusalem, your King, the spotless Lamb of God is coming.
We give you praise. Blessed is the King, the Messiah. Hosanna – now we are saved, salvation has arrived.
Jesus set up His Kingdom. Not an earthly kingdom, but an eternal kingdom, not just deliverance from the Romans.
But Jesus tells us that we will live with Him forever, His Kingdom will never end, due to His death and resurrection.
Pray for others to receive Him as Saviour and Lord of their lives and to live in eternity with Him in glory.
