The Word of God in 2 Timothy 2: 22-26 Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will. Ο Λόγος του Θεού Β΄ ΠΡΟΣ ΤΙΜΟΘΕΟΝ‬ ‭ 2: 22-26 Απόφευγε τις επιθυμίες της νεότητας. Να αγωνίζεσαι για τη δικαιοσύνη, την πίστη, την αγάπη, την ειρήνη, μαζί μ’ εκείνους που ομολογούν με καθαρή καρδιά ότι ανήκουν στον Κύριο. During Lent let us consider why JESUS came: Luke During Lent let us consider why JESUS came: Luke 19:1-10 Jesus, God’s ultimate Source of rescue, comes not for those who have life figured out but for those who are in a mess. Jesus “came to seek and save those who are lost” (Luke 19:10). While we face challenges amidst the tossing seas of life, God promises to be with us in them. And hope comes as we remember that Jesus has provided our ultimate rescue—from sin and death (v. 9; Ephesians 2:4-8). Where do you need God’s rescue? Where are you lost? What would it take for you to yield to God’s rescue and help? Dear Father, I’m out on my own, in deep trouble. I don’t think anyone can help me. But, You say You come for the lost. I’m here. Please come. ---------------------------------------------------- Κατά τη διάρκεια της Σαρακοστής ας εξετάσουμε γιατί ήρθε ο ΙΗΣΟΥΣ: Λουκάς 19:1-10 Ο Ιησούς, η απόλυτη Πηγή σωτηρίας του Θεού, δεν έρχεται για εκείνους που έχουν βρει τη ζωή τους, αλλά για εκείνους που βρίσκονται σε χάος. Ο Ιησούς «ήλθε να αναζητήσει και να σώσει τους χαμένους» (Λουκάς 19:10). Ενώ αντιμετωπίζουμε προκλήσεις ανάμεσα στις ταραχώδεις θάλασσες της ζωής, ο Θεός υπόσχεται να είναι μαζί μας σε αυτές. Και η ελπίδα έρχεται καθώς θυμόμαστε ότι ο Ιησούς παρείχε την τελική μας σωτηρία—από την αμαρτία και τον θάνατο (εδ. 9· Εφεσίους 2:4-8). Πού χρειάζεστε τη σωτηρία του Θεού; Που χάθηκες; Τι θα χρειαζόταν για να υποκύψετε στη διάσωση και τη βοήθεια του Θεού; Αγαπητέ Πατέρα, είμαι μόνος μου έξω, σε βαθιά προβλήματα. Δεν νομίζω ότι μπορεί κανείς να με βοηθήσει. Αλλά, λες ότι έρχεσαι για τους χαμένους. Είμαι εδώ. Παρακαλώ ελάτε.

The Power of His Love: After Jesus’ death and r The Power of His Love: After Jesus’ death and resurrection, He appeared to His disciples and showed them the scars in His hands and side (John 20:20). Thomas wasn’t there, so he doubted the news (v. 25). Jesus returned and told him to touch His scars and not “be faithless any longer” (v. 27). His doubts gone, Thomas responded, “My Lord and my God!” (v. 28). Jesus died to take our sins away. His scars identify Him as the Lamb who was slain for us (Revelation 5:6)! We can believe and rejoice and be filled with hope, for one day He’ll hold us in His nail-scarred hands. – What emotional or mental wounds do you still bear? How have you experienced healing through Jesus? Dear Jesus, thank You for being scarred for me. Help me to rejoice in You. -------------------------------------------------- Η Δύναμη της Αγάπης Του: Μετά το θάνατο και την ανάσταση του Ιησού, εμφανίστηκε στους μαθητές Του και τους έδειξε τα σημάδια στα χέρια και στα πλευρά Του (Ιωάννης 20:20). Ο Θωμάς δεν ήταν εκεί, οπότε αμφέβαλλε για τα νέα (εδ. 25). Ο Ιησούς επέστρεψε και του είπε να αγγίξει τα σημάδια Του και να μην «είναι πια άπιστος» (εδ. 27). Οι αμφιβολίες του εξαφανίστηκαν, ο Τόμας απάντησε: «Κύριέ μου και Θεέ μου!» (στ. 28). Ο Ιησούς πέθανε για να αφαιρέσει τις αμαρτίες μας. Τα σημάδια του Τον προσδιορίζουν ως το Αρνί που σφαγιάστηκε για εμάς (Αποκάλυψη 5:6)! Μπορούμε να πιστέψουμε και να χαρούμε και να γεμίσουμε ελπίδα, γιατί μια μέρα θα μας κρατήσει στα χέρια Του με τα σημάδια των νυχιών. – Ποιες συναισθηματικές ή ψυχικές πληγές κουβαλάτε ακόμα; Πώς βιώσατε τη θεραπεία μέσω του Ιησού; Αγαπητέ Ιησού, σε ευχαριστώ που με τραυμάτισες. Βοήθησέ με να σε χαρώ.
