This summer, the island of Kefalonia was blessed by the presence of a passionate group of believers known as Oikos 2025. Their mission was simple yet powerful: to share the good news of Jesus Christ to the local community and encourage the local body of believers through fellowship and the Word of God.
During their time on the island, members of Oikos 2025 reached out to people from all walks of life—visitors and locals alike—sharing the gospel with love, humility, and joy. Whether it was through conversations on the beach, at a bakery, or simple acts of kindness, their presence radiated the light of Christ.
But their mission didn’t stop at evangelism. They also spent intentional time with local Christians, meeting in homes and outdoor gatherings for heartfelt fellowship and Bible study. These times of prayer, worship, and mutual encouragement reminded all involved of the power of unity in the Spirit and the beauty of Christ-centered community.
As we reflect on their visit, we’re reminded of Acts 2:46–47:
“Every day they continued to meet together… They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people…”
We are grateful for Oikos 2025, for their servant hearts, and for the way God used them to bless the island. May their example inspire us all to live missionally—wherever we are—and to always be ready to share the hope we have in Christ.
