Service Type:

Pastor Gail – Opening Prayer
1. We welcome You Lord into the house today. Let’s pray. Thank You Father. Because truly You are everywhere. But Lord, we want to thank You, that we can know today, as we worship, that You are here and You are pleased, when You hear Your children, lift up Your Name. You are the reason Lord, oh God, that there’s light in our life, that there’s joy, we thank You, oh Lord, we praise You oh Lord, this morning for who You are. We love You Lord. We love You; You are our rock. You are unmovable, unshakeable. You are almighty, ever-loving, ever-lasting God.
Pastor Gail – Katy and Victoria
1. You may be seated. It’s good to be here this morning to worship before the Lord. We have two young ladies; this is their last Sunday today. And I’m going to ask them to share, and if you haven’t met Katy, this is Katy. I hope you’ve met her. Come up here Katy. Katy’s on her way back to Oklahoma, and we have Victoria somewhere here too. Victoria is coming up too. So, we’re going to let them share a little.
Katy – Sharing Experience
1. Good Morning. Thank you. This is my first time in Europe and you certainly let me with a good impression. I remember the very first Sunday that I was here. I think I was running a little late, but I came down these stairs and walked into the room, and the worshipping team was already worshipping Jesus. And I remember the feeling of the joy of the Lord, so strongly in the room, and I couldn’t help but smile and rejoice in my spirit. Because the Spirit of Jesus was so sweet and so strong, and I couldn’t help but think that this is what Jesus wants.
2. He wants us to be in communion with Him, and to have such great fellowship with each other. I’ve noticed that this is a very international church; there are people from everywhere. But you do such a good job at coming together, and I just know that it makes Jesus smile. To see people from so many nations, and languages worshipping Him together.
3. So, thank you for that. And I encourage you to continue, because it’s beautiful. And also, thank you for speaking Greek around me, because I really want to learn Greek. So, I’ve been listening and been making notes on my phone. So, maybe the next time I come, I’ll be able to hold a conversation in Greek. Thank you.
Victoria – Sharing Experience
1. Ah, I’ve already been here 5 weeks. And I’ve had the joy of working with Cecilia, and just seeing all the ministries that have just come around this church. God was teaching me a lot of firsts on this trip. My first time in Europe. My first time in Greece. My first time taking a taxi, my first time taking a bus to Athens, and my first time on a boat, on a ferry.
2. God got my attention by really challenging me to trust Him this trip. I want to encourage you, that when God is trying to teach you a lesson, you have to be willing to listen. The other lesson that the Lord has been teaching me this trip, has been in the power and the worship of prayer. I couldn’t get away from it. I came during Pentecost; we prayed. We prayed leading up to Pentecost.
3. I listened to sermons from my home church, and it’s all about prayer. Every morning when I wake up, I hear Cecilia praying in the other room, and it reminds me to get up and let the Lord be the start of my day. And as I have been working with the women at creative hands, there have been a lot of quiet moment where they have been focused on their work and I have been focused on mine. And so, instead of letting those moments pass by, I’ve allowed the Lord to work in prayer. Because the Lord hears every word from His children and He cherishes them. So, if you feel like the Lord is calling you to a new challenge, whether it’s stepping out of comfort zone, whether it’s learning the power of prayer, please listen. Praise be to God.
Pastor Gail – Reading the Word
1. Praise God. Would you turn with me in your Bibles. We changed the service around a little bit, because many of you are late to church, and we want you to hear the Scripture. So, we’re going to move Scripture reading a little later, so that we can have it together, all right?
2. By the way, Victoria where are you? You’ve never ridden a bus or a taxi? I’ve been gone a long time (from the States) my goodness. I grew up in the country with busses. By the way how many of you have never been on the bus? How many in the room heave never been in a taxi? Well, this is a day of firsts. That’s very interesting.
3. Al right, 1 Kings 17:1-6, “Now Elijah the Tishbite, from Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word.” Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah: “Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there. So, he did what the Lord had told him. He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan, and stayed there. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook.”
4. We bless the reading of the Word. The Lord raises up prophets, not just in the Old Testament, also in our day and time. And when the Lord speaks and we trust Him, all will be well. Amen? All will be well. Can we stand and praise the Lord for a moment? Let’s give Him a praise. In your own way, however you would like. The Lord I know, as I trust You, when You speak oh Lord, all will be well.
5. Father, we praise You right now, in the name of Jesus, hallelujah, heavenly Father, we glorify You, we trust God, that more and more in the days ahead, You’re going to speak Lord, Words from heaven and as we obey, God, all will be well. God, You are in control. You are the Lord of the impossible. You are the maker of heaven and earth. God, You know no limits. You are God almighty. Lord, we praise You, we praise You, we lift Your name. He is worthy of every song.
Pastor Gail – Praying for the team going to Kefalonia and announcements
1. We’re going to be praying for a team that is going from this church, in co-operation with Hellenic ministries. We’re believing that the Lord will work through Trudy to plant a church in Kefalonia. I’m going to say some names, and I’d like you to think about these names and I’m going to pray for Katy and also for Victoria, for the anointing of the Lord
2. Pastor Gail calls up Eric and Sarah and others. We are thankful for these that are here this morning. We’re going to be praying for the team that will be going to Kefalonia, and for Katy and Victoria, that the Lord will use them. The song we just sang, ‘I build my life on Jesus,’ wherever we go, let’s go with the love of the Lord.
3. There are so many people that are living in the dark. We’re praying for people who are following people in very difficult lands, with the love of the Lord. But we pray for those who don’t know the Lord, in all places around the world, that we’ll go with the love of the Lord. Amen.
4. Can I invite you to reach out your hands to these people here this morning, they represent the work of the Lord. We’re going to believe this morning, that just as the Lord told Elijah, “I’ll take care of you” and God is going to be with them and do mighty things. Amen.
5. Father in the name of the Lord, Jesus, we pray right now for the team going to Kefalonia, that You will give the words to this team, and Sarah, as she leads, God. We just thank You, God that there is peace no worries, trust in You.
For the rest of the prayer and announcements please watch the video. Thank you.

Anton Beukes – Main Message
1. Good morning, everyone. It is wonderful to be together., and to hear about the team going to Kefalonia, but to also pray for those who have been here for a few weeks.
2. We are working though our series on ‘Gifted’, and we cannot function as a church, if we do not use the gifts that God has given us. We are grateful for those who are using their musical gifts, in leading us in worship before God’s throne. We are grateful for those on the tech and the AV side. For those who are translating for us. Who have come to serve and who are going out to serve.
3. We are not just a collection of people together; we are a collection of gifted people together. Gifted to worship God, gifted to build up the church, and gifted to proclaim the Gospel to the nations.
4. Two weeks ago, Leto introduced us into a subset of our teaching, when she looked at the text in Ephesians 4:11-13, “So, Christ Himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip His people for works of service, so that the Body of Christ may be built up, until we all reach unity in faith and in knowledge of the Son of God, and become mature, attaining the full measure of the fulness of Christ.”
5. Last week, Luca introduced us into what it means to be called an, ‘Apostle.’ To go out, or to be sent out to another location or new area. To start something new. To build a new faith community or to begin a new ministry. So, some are called to this apostolic calling. And over the next few weeks, we will look at these other four giftings.
6. Many years ago, after I completed my seminary, I had the privilege to go to Belgium for a year. I worked with a mission organization there and I was an intern in a church planting project. I lived with a local family, I learned Flemish, and I worked with the church planter who was from Holland. Everyone in the town knew him, and they called him, ‘The flying Dutchman.’ Because, he would always jump on his bicycle, and he would go around the town, evangelizing, knocking on doors, and he would drag me along. He was a gifted evangelist.
7. Now, many of you know me, and you know that I don’t like people. I should actually amend that a little bit. I don’t like to speak to people I don’t know. I actually have a fear, to talk to strange people. And just imagine me, on a bicycle, behind the evangelist, going from door to door in the town’s squares, speaking to strangers.
8. I had a problem. I knew from very young, that the Lord called me to mission. I always had a love for the nations. But I couldn’t talk to people. I questioned my call and at that stage, I questioned my eight years of study and I didn’t want to continue anymore.
9. So, one day, I couldn’t take it anymore. I sat down with Barend, the church planter, and I said, ‘I’m sorry Barend, but I can no longer continue. I’m not like you. I don’t like to talk. I don’t know what to say to them.’
10. So, we started a conversation, and I realized, actually Barend realized that I did not have the same gift. I was not an evangelist. I realized that the Lord has gifted me to teach, to equip, and to encourage. And from that day onwards, we changed some of the responsibilities in the church. He went out evangelizing, and I prayed for him, but he asked me to do more of the Bible studies and more preaching.
11. Even coming to Greece, I knew that my calling was not to go out evangelizing. I was called to equip and encourage. And that’s why it’s good for me to talk about what it means to be an evangelist, because I know what I am not called for.
12. It’s interesting, that when we go through the New Testament, the gifting or the office of an evangelist, is only mentioned three times in the New Testament. Ephesians 4, and then two other people are called evangelists, in Acts 21, we read that Paul stayed with Philip, one of the deacons, who was also an evangelist. And then we also read in 2 Timothy, that God called Timothy as an evangelist.
13. So, let’s turn in our Bibles to 2 Timothy 4:1-5, “In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage —with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.”
14. If you will keep your Bible open, we will look at all five of these verses. Paul begins this passage by saying these words, “In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge:”
15. This is a very serious statement that Paul is making here. He’s not saying to Timothy, ‘You know, you’re a nice guy and because you’re nice, I’m going to ask you to do something.’ Or it may be important to take notice of the next few things. He’s saying, “In the presence of God and Christ Jesus,” is literally saying that, ‘As God is my witness, as God has instructed me, I am instructing you.’ And then when he refers to Jesus Christ, he uses the inverted, ‘Christ Jesus,’ and there’s no difference between Jesus Christ and Christ Jesus, but usually, when the ‘Christ’ is used before the ‘Jesus,’ it refers to Jesus after His ascension, where He is now and the position where He holds now.
16. So, as Jesus, he refers to three things. That Jesus will judge the living and the dead; that Jesus will be the judge of all. Second thing, that He will return, in the view of His appearing, that He will judge all when He appears, when He returns, and His Kingdom. Who rules the Kingdom? The King. And if it’s about His Kingdom, then we need to acknowledge that Jesus is the King. And so, when he refers to Jesus, he refers to Him as, ‘The Judge and the King, who will return.’ So, we need to take note that Paul is serious, when he says these words.
17. But what is this charge that he gives, himself to Timothy? ‘Preach the Word. Be prepared in season and out of season. Correct, rebuke and encourage. With great patience and careful instruction.’ He’s giving him two things to do. To preach the Word, not to say what he thinks is nice, or to tell good stories, or have moral teaching. He’s charged to preach the Word.
18. And I want to ask you, that if you find that anyone of us preach to you, are not preaching the Word, then you need to tell us. We, as those who are preaching, are called to preach the Word. Not what the world wants to hear, not what I want to tell you, not what we think is a good idea, we need to preach the Word. And I believe that God will bless our church if we continue to preach the Word.
19. The Bible offends people. The Gospel offends people. Because it tells us how sinful we are. Is there anybody here who does not sin? I sin, often. And the Bible tells me I’m wrong. And the Bible needs to tell me I’m wrong. Because if I’m not wrong, then I don’t need a Savior. The does not only offend us, but the Bible also tells us that there is a solution for our sins. Jesus is the solution for us. That’s why our preaching should be focused on God’s Word. And especially on the person and the work of Jesus Christ.
20. And so, Paul is saying to Timothy, ‘Preach the Word.’ When? Always. “be prepared in season and out of season;” When you are asked to preach or when you are not asked to preach. I’ve travelled to many countries, and when they hear that I’ve had some theological training, or that I teach at a Bible College, they will ask me to preach. They will not contact me a week before; they will ask me when I arrive. Because I need to be prepared in season and out of season. That’s when you become dependent on the Holy Spirit. When it’s not your word, but it’s God’s Word, and you trust Him to speak through you.
21. For those of us who are called to preach; for those of us who are called to evangelize; for those of us who are called to teach, we need to be prepared, in season and out of season. But he also says to Timothy, “correct, rebuke and encourage.” He needs to see what’s going on in the church, and if somebody has a wrong teaching, or doing wrong things, then he needs to correct it.
22. He also needs to rebuke. Which is sometimes a bit harsher than correcting. If you keep on believing that, then something bad will happen. It is to rebuke. But he is also called to encourage. Not just saying, go on doing as before, but it is encouraging somebody in faith, to grow in their faith, to live out their faith, to understand their giftings and to exercise the gifts that they have been given. And how should he correct, rebuke and encourage? “With great patience and careful instruction.”
23. The second one is easier for me. It’s not always clear but at least there is instruction. I realize the older I get, the less patient I become. So, please pray for me. But as we lead and guide and teach others, we need to do it with great patience.
24. We pray that every person grows closer to the Lord. Some grow faster than others. Some need more assistance and so, we cannot expect everybody to grow at the same time. Therefore, we as those who are teaching, need great patience, to encourage others to grow in the faith.
25. But we also need to give careful instructions. Not just saying, ‘You should stop doing this,’ but tell them why they should not be doing this, and how they can change their behavior, and how we can come along side them to change that behavior. It’s very easy to tell somebody that what they are doing is wrong, but it’s not always that easy to tell them how to do the right thing. And I believe that’s part of our Biblical teaching, not to just focus on the, ‘Thou shall not,’ but we ‘Should do this and that.’ We need to pray for the great patience and careful instructions from the Lord.
26. So, why is it important for Timothy to be a preacher, and somebody that corrects and encourages, because Paul says in verse 3, “For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.” Does that sound familiar? If you have social media, you usually hear what you want to hear. And if somebody says what you don’t want to hear, it’s very easy to just scroll on, or tell them how wrong they are.
27. We are called to speak the truth, to listen to God’s Word, even if it hurts us, even if it does not agree with our lifestyle, even if we are wrong. We need to focus on the truth, otherwise we will become like these people, to only hear what we desire, and only to listen to those who agree with us.
28. When I was teaching at the Bible college, I usually encouraged my students, not only to read books, written by people who agree with your theology, but also from people who you do not agree with. Because we live in a world, where not everybody agrees with you. And if you cannot think critically, and cannot ask the Spirit to give you a discerning gift, then we will be consumed by all these wrongs in the world. We need to read the Word. We need to study the Word. But we also need to listen to those who do not agree with the Word, in order to have an answer from the Word to them.
29. And so, Paul says, “They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.” We live in a world where anybody can create their own religion, or their own philosophy, or their own teaching. People are turning away from the truth and start their own myths. We are called, we who know the truth are called, to speak the truth, to live the truth, correct those who are not living the truth, and help them back into the truth.
30. And so, Paul says that people will go away from the truth, but in verse 5 he says, “But you, Timothy, keep your head in all situations.” He’s literally saying, ‘Be in control of your thoughts,’ which is very difficult. My thoughts wonder all over the place. And I think, the only way I can keep control of my mind and my thoughts, is to submit to the Spirit and to ask Him to keep control of my mind.
31. But Paul is saying to Timothy, ‘Your mind, your thoughts, the truth in your head, cannot go astray.’ When you know the truth, it is easier to discern the false. Therefore, we are called to know the truth, to study the truth, to live out the truth, so that when we see a false teaching, or a sin, we will know what it is, and how to correct it.
32. Paul says, “Endure hardship.” A few weeks ago, we looked at the gift of suffering. If the whole world is against God, and we live in this world, then we know that the world will be against us. Being a follower of Christ, is not an easy thing. Because the world says, you need to do this, but the Bible teaches us to do that. And if we live in a world, that’s against the Word of God, then we will suffer. Then we will endure hardship. And we will be persecuted. And so, Paul is charging Timothy, to endure this hardship. Again, we cannot do it on our own. We need the Spirit of God to give us the strength, and we need one another, to encourage, to strengthen, and to carry this load with us.
33. And then Paul says, “do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.” Everything that you have been called for, and asked to do, do it. When I know that I have been called to do something, or asked to do something, I cannot just sit and say, ‘Well do I really feel like doing it? Do I have the time to do that? Or shall I leave it for somebody else to do.’
34. Paul is saying to Timothy, ‘You know what you have been called for. You know what you have been asked to do. Just do it. Not asking why, or saying, maybe later, or somebody else can do that.’ We all have a task and a duty.
35. Paul regularly used the image of the body, and each one of us is a member of the body. The fingers cannot work, if the hand is not working. And the hand cannot work, if the arm is not working. And so, each one has a part to play. And so, when we are called to do something, and gifted to do something, it’s not only because God wants you to do it, but others are also dependent on what you are doing.
36. And so, Timothy is called to be an evangelist. So, what is an evangelist. Billy Graham wrote this, ‘An evangelist is like a news caster on television, or a journalist writing for a newspaper. Except that the evangelist’s mission is to tell the good news that never changes.’
37. Easy job. You don’t have to look for news. The news is there and it doesn’t change. The primary responsibility is to preach God’s Word. Basically, what Paul told Timothy. Telling people simply and clearly, what God says concerning His Son, Jesus Christ, and what He has done for all. It’s not about me. It’s not about my life. It’s not about my calling or my ministry. I need to step back, and focus on Jesus Christ.
38. Continuing Billy Graham’s message, ‘This is done with urgency, because the souls of people are at stake. Evangelists are not to just tell people about the Bible, they are to proclaim Jesus and to communicate His message of salvation.’
39. Evangelists are called by God, if we go back to Ephesians 4, we see that Christ Himself, gave the church evangelists. It’s not just something that the early church thought of, or we as a church decided it may be good to have evangelists. But Christ, Himself, gave the church evangelists, and He gifted the evangelists with the gifts that they needed, for the church.
40. And this is important for me. Because, so many times I see evangelists, working on their own. When I was very young, there was a television program, ‘The Lone Ranger,’ maybe you remember him. The sheriff on his own, and he held the safety and the security of everybody. We are not called to be lone rangers. We are called to be church. To be people of the Lord. And when we are gifted to do something, we do it because we are called, and because we are part of the church, and it’s for the benefit of the church.
41. And so, when Christ gave evangelists to the church, it was so that people outside the church can hear the Gospel, and that they should also come into the church, and be part of the people of God.
42. So, what are the core responsibilities of an evangelist? The name says it all. It is somebody that announces the good news. It is not just somebody to tell you how wrong you are, or say this is the Bible. But it is somebody that focusses on the good news. The good news of Jesus Christ. One who shares His life, His death, His resurrection and also tells us why Jesus came, because of God’s love, and because of our need for a Savior.
43. So, salvation is an important part of the good news. The good news talks about the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Jesus is not just the baby in the manger, or He is the Good Shepherd with all the sheep, or the One hanging on the cross. Now, He sits on the throne and reigns over His Kingdom and He’s the Head of the church. And so, we need to preach and acknowledge His Lordship. But it is not just preaching these things, but it is also calling people to repentance and faith, to know the truth, to believe the truth and to turn away from your old life.
44. To be an evangelist, is to share Jesus. But we see in the life of Paul, that sometimes it’s not enough just to share, but sometimes it needs to be persuaded as well. To do everything that you have in you to bring somebody to a point of faith.
45. And so now the difficult question. Are all Christians evangelists? No! And Yes! According to these Scriptures, I believe that not all of us are called to be evangelists. Paul says in Ephesians, that were given as apostles, some were given as prophets, some as evangelists, others as pastors and teachers. Not all have received all the giftings. In 1 Corinthians 12:29-30, Paul even asked the question, “Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?” No. Not all of us have received these giftings.
46. But we are all called in taking part in sharing the good news of Jesus. In Matthew 5:13-16, Jesus says, “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
47. Take note what Jesus is saying here. He’s not saying that some of you will be salt and light. Or after you have completed your seminary, you’ll maybe become salt and light. He’s saying, “You are the salt. You are the light.” Each one of us, we are all salt and light. Each one of us is called to bring flavor into the community that we live in. To preserve the community, as salt preserves food. And we are all light. We cannot be secret Christians. In some countries it is more difficult than in ours, but here we can be the light to all people. That is what we are. We need to shine in this world.
48. But Jesus also says in Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” When we put our faith in Jesus, when we follow Him, then we have received the Holy Spirit, and with that, the power that the Spirit brings, and we have become witnesses. We are witnesses.
49. To call yourself a Christian, is a testimony, of the One that we follow. I am a believer, and I want to share the One that I believe in. But I believe that it goes back even further than Jesus’ life, when we read when God called Abraham, He says in Genesis 12:2-3, “I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you. I will make your name great. And you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and whoever curses you I will curse, and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” We are called to be salt and light. We are called to be witnesses. But we are also called to be a blessing. Wherever we go, whatever we do, we need to be a blessing around us.
50. Not all of us are called to be evangelists. But we are all called to bless those around us, to be a blessing to the world, to witness about Jesus, and to be salt and light. So, for those who are called to be evangelists, what should you do?
a. First of all, pray. Pray that the Lord will confirm this. Pray that the Lord will give you the courage.
b. Speak to one of the leaders of the church. So that they can confirm it with you.
c. Get trained. Know the truth; know the Scriptures; know the Bible. And go out and proclaim the Gospel, in season and out of season.
51. And for those who are not called to be evangelists, you don’t have to do anything. No, No, No. We can pray with them, pray for the evangelists, to have favor with people. That they will have the courage and the words to say. And pray for those who will receive the message.
52. Also, know how your gifting can assist the evangelist. If you have the gifting of hospitality, you can invite people into your home, and invite an evangelist as well, so they can share the Word, and you can affirm it. If you have the gifting of prayer, pray for the evangelists. Go out with the Evangelists. And pray for the people in the background.
53. If you have the gift of encouragement, encourage the evangelists. Encourage the new believers. If you have the gift of teaching, it’s your responsibility to be part of the discipleship of the new believers, as well as training the evangelists.
54. We can all be a part of what God is doing to evangelize the world. And if you are not evangelists, that does not mean that you are not salt and light, that you are not a witness or not a blessing. That’s a calling for each one of us, that has been given to each one of us to be the people that God made us to be.
55. Let us pray together. Lord, we thank You for Your Word, for Your truth, and we pray that You will keep us focused on Your Word. Lift up our heads and keep our eyes focused on our Lord Jesus. Lord, we thank You for the different gifts that You have given Your church. We thank You Lord for the evangelists among us, that You have called them, that You have given a burden to them, that they have an urgency to share Your Gospel. Lord, we pray that You will equip them, that You will encourage them, that You will give them open ears and hearts that when they preach Your word, that people will come to faith. And for all those of us that You have not called as evangelists, thank You that we can be salt and light. Thank You that we can be witnesses and help us to be a blessing to those around us. We know Lord, that we cannot do these things out of our own strength. We need You, Lord. We need Your Spirit to guide us and encourage us. Thank You Lord Jesus, that we can pray these things, in Your name alone. Amen.
Pastor Gail – Close
1. Thank the Lord. Praise God that You are here today. If you’re here and don’t know Jesus, one of the leaders will be more than happy to pray for you to know the Lord. But before we close today, I want us to pray for Vilmaka, Santhi’s mother, she’s very sick and we want to pray for Sunil. Sunil is here sitting in the room. The report of the doctor is not good. But we believe the report heaven, that God is going to heal Sunil and give him life. And for Mary also, that the report of the doctor is that the cancer is there, but we believe that God is the healer. Amen.
2. As we close could you stand, we’re going to sing, ‘Worthy of every song,’ tell Him, that ‘You are worthy of every healing,’ Jesus, You are the name above every name, You’re the healer. Let’s sing this together as a prayer to the Lord, for Sunil, Vilmaka and Mary today.
