The Word of God in ACTS 17: 28-31 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’ “Therefore since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by human design and skill. In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.” Ο Λόγος του Θεού στις ΠΡΑΞΕΙΣ ΑΠΟΣΤΟΛΩΝ‬ ‭ 17: 28-31 Γιατί μέσα σ’ αυτόν ζούμε και κινούμαστε και υπάρχουμε, όπως λένε και μερικοί απ’ τους δικούς σας ποιητές: “Δική του είμαστε γενιά”. Αφού, λοιπόν, είμαστε γενιά του Θεού, δε θα πρέπει να νομίζουμε ότι η θεότητα είναι κάτι όμοιο με χρυσάφι ή ασήμι ή πέτρα, δηλαδή με γλυπτό έργο της τέχνης ή της φαντασίας του ανθρώπου. Ο Θεός παρέβλεψε τα χρόνια της άγνοιας· τώρα όμως απαιτεί απ’ όλους τους ανθρώπους σε κάθε τόπο να μετανοήσουν, γιατί έχει καθορίσει μια μέρα που θα κρίνει την οικουμένη με δικαιοσύνη, μέσω ενός ανδρός που τον έχει ορίσει γι’ αυτό το σκοπό. Κι έδωσε βέβαιη απόδειξη σε όλους, ότι αυτός θα είναι ο κριτής, ανασταίνοντάς τον από τους νεκρούς».کلام خداوند در کارهای رسولان ۳۱-۲۸ :۱۷ زیرا در او زندگی می‌کنیم و در او حركت و هستی داریم.' چنانکه بعضی از شاعران خودتان گفته‌اند: 'ما نیز فرزندان او هستیم.' پس چون همهٔ ما فرزندان خدا هستیم نباید گمان كنیم كه ذات الهی مانند پیکره‌ای از طلا و نقره و سنگ است كه با هنر و مهارت آدمی تراشیده می‌شود. خدا دوران جهالت را نادیده گرفت، امّا اكنون در همه‌جا بشر را امر به توبه می‌فرماید، زیرا روزی را معیّن فرمود كه جهان را با راستی و درستی به وسیلهٔ شخصی كه برگزیدهٔ خود اوست داوری فرماید و برای اثبات این حقیقت او را پس از مرگ زنده كرد.» ... It is always a blessed way to enter a new year wit It is always a blessed way to enter a new year with fasting and prayer. The church will be open at 10 am for 1 hour today and daily up to the 15 of January for those who would like to come and pray. Also, it’s a great time from 8 – 15 January to join together in Prayer and Fasting. This is an invitation for all. ----------------------------- Είναι πάντα ένας ευλογημένος τρόπος για να μπείτε σε μια νέα χρονιά με νηστεία και προσευχή. Η εκκλησία θα είναι ανοιχτή στις 10 το πρωί για 1 ώρα σήμερα και μέχρι τις 15 Ιανουαρίου για όσους θέλουν να προσέλθουν να προσευχηθούν.
